Kol Emeth
Celebrating Our Roots,
Envisioning Our Future
Join Us
We are excited to invite you to Kol Emeth’s Annual Spring Fundraiser on Sunday, May 21st from 6 -10 p.m.
As we grow into our new campus, our theme this year is “Celebrating our Roots, Envisioning our Future."
Join us for an elegant evening of great food, lively music, and making a difference!
Why Give?
Our congregation depends on everyone’s generosity.
Funds raised by this event will support KE Cares, ensuring that cost is not a barrier to participating in religious school, synagogue events or our community.
Your generosity allows Kol Emeth to continue to flourish and welcome everyone.
Consider sponsorship.
Ticket sales alone won’t raise the funds we need. You can help us close the gap.

About Jacob & Evelyn Berger
Jacob was born in Cairo and raised in Tel Aviv. Evelyn was born in Biddeford, Maine and raised in Amsterdam. They met in Jerusalem.
On bus #9.
Jacob was studying chemistry and Evelyn was studying social work. Their daughter, Merav, was born in Jerusalem but shortly thereafter the family moved to Zurich. Their son, Nadav, was born in Zurich but shortly thereafter the family moved to California. It was 1981.
Jacob, Evelyn, Evelyn’s mother, Netty Hess, and the kids joined Kol Emeth in Palo Alto. Merav had her Bat Mitzvah there. Nadav had his Bar Mitzvah there. Netty was buried there. So was Nadav. Both of Jacob and Evelyn’s grandchildren, Daniel and Mia, had their Bar and Bat Mitzvah there.
After traveling the whole world for four generations, the Bergers found their home at Kol Emeth. And they are here to stay.
